so your saying if i do take them off i may have problems with wheel hop, what if i haven't upgraded my shockes or struts will that matter?

You should NOT have any problems if you upgrade you control arms. Now if you start running slicks or DR, you may have some hop issues, but shouldn't be too bad.

your stock quad-shock setup is a factory traction bar, kind of. without them the rear end can move freely front to back causing wheel hop. if you take them off, and plan on upgrading power, consider traction bars.
