to do or not to do
I have a 87 gt manule that i just redid the tranny and clutch and added a pro5.0 shifter ( has 10 miles on them), was gooing to sell the car for $2000, ( body is in bad shape) but now i was thinking about puting the tranny in my 89 wich is auto , should i sell the car or just take the tranny out ?

you wanna do a auto to t5 swap from your 87(worse shape) to your 89(better shape)? right? well i can tell you putting the auto into the t5 is a cake walk but the t5 into the auto may take a lil bit of time and work, personally i'd wait and just build the aod with a manual valve body, shift kit and stall convertor, but thats jmo, good luck dude[8D]

and dont bet on that t5 holding your stock power... atleast not forever... there not too strong... im dealing w. one now... i say go for it, tho, if you wanna drive a stick. or like said above just help that aod out alot and be done w. it. as for the swap i think i have a link around here somewhere that has alota info on it. ill try to find it if u want.
