Wanna put gears in my car..

i want to get 3:55 gears in the car.. is it a pain to do? how long does it normally take...

Ive never done it but an experienced mechanic can slap em in within 2-3 hours.[&o]

the biggest part is having the correct tools, such as:

ft lb torque wrench
inch lb torque wrench
digital calipers
drain pans
dial guage for backlash measurement
bearing puller
bearing press
assorted wrenches and tools
beer
ford shop manual is a great guide for install also

If you never done it before its worth your time to spend the money and do it right.Get the whole thing done with genuine ford parts for under $750 gears ,seals, oil.................
