They handle great. Yes they have LSD. They hold up great at the strip.

The best part is... there's an abundance of aftermarket parts at great prices. It's one of the easiest / cheapest engines to mod and you can make some serious HP / TQ with them.

in sotck form Foxes are pretty sloppy.

you can get some awesome chasis/suspension upgrades though.

"3rd fastest slalom time ever recorded by Motor Trend magazine was put down by 1990 LX 5.0 with $2,500 upgrade kit MaximumMotorSports"

spend a little time and money on them and a Fox body stang can cut the
corners with the best.

www.maximummotorsports.com

thats the great thing about 5.0 mustangs, the market is full of aftermarket upgrades from
eveythng from engine to brakes to suspension.

yea the thing is that I wont be afraid of putting money into the car, one of the things that I love about it is that its really cheap HP lol. But I have an obsession with taking corners very fast and that’s what a bmw gave me does the fox really have the potential to keep up with lets say....a porsche 944 turbo or a M3?

oh yeah you can easily get them just as fast and faster and with the suspension kits out there you would be amazed. one thing your not gunna like about moving from bmw to the fox is the interior you are probably partial to the very nice leather no sounds from inside the car i know how they ride from the inside my buddy had a 2001 330ci with the sports package learned how to drive stick on that car they are nothing a like from the inside at all

I agree... You can put $10k into a fox and keep up w/ nearly any car under $80k new. A stocker w/ full suspension mods (U/L control arms, shocks/struts, springs, strut tower brace, subframes, etc.) will handle like a completely different car, even at stock power levels. Throw some more parts at it and you've got a fast car that carves corners.
