are 89 LX's the least available stangs?
I'm not comming up with much 89 LX mustangs for sale. I figure they would be quite rare considering they were the first year to come out with MASS air, last year of the tilt steering wheel and last year without airbags. I wrecked a 69,000 mile LX hatch pic below and now two and a half weeks later am really starting to feen to get back in the driver seat. Is the steering wheel posisitioned correctly after 1989?

I got someone who wants to buy my stang 1,600 with a set of mint poney's. In that case all my parts are gone. Not sure If I want to sell a fresh 5.0 HO

you get used to the wheel of the 90+ , but actually , there are more '89's than '90 and '91 combined
i've had '88, '89, (2) '90's, sis had a '91 and i have a '93 now
i like '89 the best, no matter what anyone says, they run stronger

explain how the 89 run stronger. I know they are ligher... I have only owned one mustang 1989 mustang hatch LX. I wrecked it with 69,000 miles on it. I am so ****ing pissed about it!

Not to bust your ***** or anything but the first year of mass air equiped foxes was 88, but they were only in Cali. In any rate it must just be dumb luck for me as I've stubled across 3 89 LX's recently and the one I now own. Of course this was in Jacksonville,FL.

i like the positionning of the steering in the 90-93, never felt uncomfortable with it, but yeah you could switch it with a tilt if you want it that bad... i have no idea either why bob said the 89 was stronger, as far as i know, there is no difference between the 89 and 92.

ya for some reason people on here claim the 89 is faster than any 87-93. but they have absolutely 0 proof, and the facts seem to say it is the same, if not slower(than the 87-88s)
