Ok, so my oil level sender is leaking. All this time I thought it was my drain plug. What type of seal goes onto the sender assembly? Is it a gasket or an o-ring? Thanks.

It's kinda a lil of both. It's a rubber seal w/metal on the inside. Get it from Henry J.!

Oh and also, for some reason when I bought the one to replace on my wifes 90 vert, for some reason they offered 2. I bought both so there wouldn't be a problem during install.

Ah! Henry J! I used to call him Hank, so that's where the confusion came from. Besides, I never called myself a Ford guy...I just like powerful cars!

Oh, one more question. Is it likely that oil would come out of my leaky level sender faster at higher rpms, or when the car is moving versus parked? I know that it will leak faster when the motor is hot, but do rpm and load have anything to do with it? I wouldn't think they would have much effect, but I'm still hoping to explain my oil usage.
