Default 1988 5.0 rear lid vs 1990 5.0 lid

Ive got a 1990 5.0 parts car for my 88 5.0 project car (if I can call it that). I adopted her when I was in need of a stock tranny replacement. Can anyone tell me if the rear lid will fit on the 88 ? Id like to use it and also the seats, What about other body parts? What is the best way to find out what parts are exchangable?
Thanks

You shouldn't need a torch to replace the rear decklid.

torch, why would you need a torch jesse james? and yes they are interchangable, several bolts and a few connectors is all you'll need!

All the body panels from 1979-1993 are interchangable, granted some fenders and hoods are a wee bit different, but theyll all bolt up with no modifiaction required.
