Get a boss block, seen them in the 1500 dollar range and built right it should safely hold 800-1000hp. Tune and revs play a large part in stock 302s splitting, after 400hp if you are not tuned well and try to spin it skyhigh...well you saw the picture.

how about this, buy a 460 for a couple hundred bucks, a rotating assembly with some 4 bolt splayed main caps, and be done with it. no replacement for displacment, have you ever seen a boosted 460, weight is the last thing you would be worried about lol
