ALright i have a 1993 mustang gt 5.0 5 spd...I blew the transmission out and i am goign to buy a new on this local automotive store has a 4 cylcinder case but 5.0 guts in it...Is there a difference between cases and should i buy it or what do u think..thanks

i believe the cases are the same , pretty sure. the 4 banger one is also known as the borg warner t-5 but hell what do i know.

my friend useing one out of a turbo coupe,,,on his 89 gt...rode races it too

That tranny should do fine. The main difference between the 4 banger version and the v8 is with the input shaft. Just make sure your clutch disk fits the input shaft first
