Need help-2700 Stall TC-no cooler=damage?

I am going to be driving about 600 miles in a 5.0/AODE w/ a 2700 stall torque converter that does not have a trans cooler in it; is this a problem, will this cause any damage to the trans? Thanks

stock trannys die from heat with stock converters. i would get a cooler asap.
