Hi,

I am new here, just got my 89 LX 5.0 yesterday.

I want to ditch that sad exhaust and get something with some flow.

I live in Montana and dont have to worry about emissions.

Can someone please explain how I eliminate the cats?

I think I get the headers, and H pipe and a cat back system.

Does the H pipe compensate for the length loss from taking out the cats?

the h-pipe contains your cats, and offroad h-pipe will simply be a replacement h-pipe with no cats in it - its a direct bolt on replacement. nothing sounds sicker than an offroad h with 40 series flowmasters... magnapacks are a close second though and perform better

does anyone know if cutting out your flowmasters and welding in some borla turbos would be a great idea? and how are they on performace and sound? are they worth the money?
