so i see from my recent question alot of people belive aod is stronger....well sence i have a AOD i belive the same thing...lol but i need to know how to build 1...i have a shift kit here on the floor...its a transgo shift kit...umm my specs are a 92 gt Aod..bone stock...66k orginall miles...so help plz thks

AOD is stonger than what? Either way, get a good valvebody from PA or lentech, a converter from edge

what do you want it to door, drag or street? you planing on putting out allot of power sometime soon? And what is an AOD stronger than? Only thing i would recoommend for AODs is the PA valve body with the OD cut out switch to keep it from shifting into over drive and a non lock up converter so you have stall in every gear.

an aod with an aftermarket vb and stall will outperform a bone stock aod

The op said stonger. I assumed he ment building one to hold more hp than a stock aod can hold.

Don't forget about a trans cooler because heat is the worst enemy of an AOD

stall and vb wont make a aod stronger will make it blow faster still same insides...get high energy internals or kevlar internals,and a A servoit will hold ya 1-2 gear better longer,and get a good pump...hardened shaft i have high eneergy bands,clutches,and ihave had 400+ hp on it and has been fine...a manual vb is nice too..
