nope... well not that i'm aware of and i've done a "few" t-5's, and if you take it apart the tail housing comes off first

Is it hard to do. I am a mechanically inclined person. Will a trans rebuild kit from summit fix that problem? If so, is that job that difficult to do?

It's not hard to do but a rebuild kit I don't think is going to fix your problem. Is the transmission new or new to you? It sounds like the shift fork for 5th reverse is broken or something. I would take it out and apart before you order anything.

New to Me. And definitely know how that works. Donor Car was "daily driver".

thats right a rebuilt kit won't fix your problem, i don't suggest trying to rebuilt a tranny on your own (seen a lot of people mess up the backlash)... if the shift fork to the R/5TH lever was broke then most of the time it would make noise or get loged in the gears when the car is moving in another gear. you shouldn't need any parts except some RTV
