There is a cable that runs down the top of the steering column and has an end on it that looks like the quadrant end of the clutch cable. Was wondering if anyone knows maybe what that cable is and what it hooks to. Had never seen it until i put a new trans in the car.

It might be your TV cable not hooked up. That is about where it would lay. It is suppsosed to hook up to the throttle body
