I had this same exact problem and it was the started solenoid. I also had to replace the positive battery cable. I would come out of the store and it would not start, I mean nothing totally dead. A friend of mine happened to be at the store and we pissed with it and that was the problem. Really wiggle that crap around.
don't wanna be rude but yah that might have been your problem, but he can crank his motor and has no injector pulse. quite different.
I do not consider it rude at all. I am always eager to learn.

sounds like tfi module to me. ford is known for the tfi to go out when the car gets hot and the tfi is kinda old. them let it cool down and the car starts right up. just replace the tfi not the whole distributor. hope you get it fixed.

Could be a stator pickup coil in the distributor - they're known for going back in the '95s. My friend with a 95 was having problems with his car dieing and not starting back up for another 30 mins, we replaced coils, sparkplugs, cap, rotor, fuel pump...none of this helped. It was the stator pickup coil.

She has 75000 miles on it, I think it's time for a new distributor. Thanks

While i'm testing, Does any one have any ideas as to what would cause a rough idle. it was told to me that 5.0 has a history of having a some what rocky idle.
