screw that setup get the gt 40 upper and lower intake and get gt 40p heads off a explorer, you will have to run explorer headers and maybe make a few other mods but its about 300-500 cheaper for the same gain

personally i've never really liked any of the GT40 crap, its alot of money for very little gain compared to equal money for better parts.

better yet... get gt-40 heads, send them to thumper and pay $695 to get a set of gt-40 thumper ported heads that will out-flow afr-165's

ORIGINAL: gt884me

50 resto----heads 549.95
intake 595.95
cam 174.95
gaskets 46.95
rockers 374.95 - not sure if they are cobra
Around 1800 with the hoses and misc.
That price you quoted for the heads is each from 50resto.

I have almost that identical set up and really like it. I'll have dyno numbers in January, but I wasn't going for *****-to-the-wall performance. I just wanted more power for the street and factory reliability. I've also done a fair amount of business with Blue Oval and would recommend them highly.

As far as price goes it's only a little cheaper than if you peaced it togeather...only by about $200 tho, so it's really up to you what you want to do...I'd do a little more research on parts if I were you.

I'd be more likely to spend $2100 on the Trickflow kit before i bought that one. Even the Edelbrock kit would probably be better.
