Default sway bar

my sway bar broke on my tang...what should i do? is it really important ...should i get a new one or weld it?

first off is it not stang instead of tang? LOL

And Im pretty sure you cannot weld it!!!
You'll need to buy a new one!

well i took my sway bar off, b/c it felt like it was 30lbs or more. If you don't take curves at 60+ you should be ok, but for safty i would just fix.

you can take it off for now, but if you wanted you can get one off of another 94+ gt for about $50. i wouldnt get one from earlier years though, they arent as thick and wouldnt make that much of a difference.

You don't NEED one, but I'd drive it like a lincloln town car unless your replaced it

replace it, it won't be nearly as strong as it should be if you weld it! you need it for safe driving on the street to help control the wheels in turns and over bumps and stuff.
