true, but first is pretty short, to have it in first then to move your hand to the switch then back to the shifter in that amount of time is a lot of work.... could always use one of those ricer shift ***** with the button on it

well actually if you think about it, once the lock is released from its active state, it will lock again with the clutch pedal, but the actual brake lines will not be pressurized, so i dont think it would lock up the wheels. your supposed to engage the lock with the pedal down so that it holds good pressure. without hitting the brake, i'd assume it wouldn't work, so i dont think it would have to be de-activated until shortly before the end of the track

i'm not a line lok expert, i know i wouldn't want to take the chance of it locking up the tires, i would just make the button realy close to the shifter

the linelock would engage when the clutch is pressed in AND the switch on the dash is... well.. switched
he would just have to remember to shut it off before the end of the track.. so that he can stop

Matt, just do it the right way man w/o the extra switch. It serves no purpose
I used a NOS switch for mine. I like the way it works!!!

yah, the interior switch controls the power being fed to the switch at the clutch, and the switch at the clutch controls power to the line lock
