From my understanding, one is for a 5.0L (EFI), and the other is for a 221-302 (carb).

MAA-2555101
Distributor, Dual Points, Mechanical Advance, Ford, 221-302, Each

MAA-2570401
Distributor, Dual Points, Mechanical Advance, Ford, 5.0L, Each

I thought i read something a few years ago that some dist. had a softer gear than the other. Not sure which was which tho.

Ether should work, all of those stangs use a 302. Only major differences is FI, and/or roller motor. And neither dizzy's will work with FI, and neither have steel gears for the roller motor.
