how do I go about telling what year my t-5 is so I can get the right speedo correction gear?? I know its not the original as the original was an auto.

i don't believe it would matter, the year they require when purchasing is so the gear will work correctly with your speedo, it has nothing to do with the internals of the tranny.

all you need to know is >># of teeth on drive gear in side trans>>>tire size >>>and Rear End Ratio .

about midway on the side of the trans there is a cast in number that tells the year model
think its about the side of a quarter or so (actually raised numbers) , just pick a year with a
t-5 as that part should be the all the same
