Can someone give me a measurement of an 87-9? guage cluster??? plzz
I am waiting for my car to be delivered (it is being shipped). I was wanting to order some parts. One of them was gauges. But I dunno' how large I can go in my dash (it will be custom). Can someone give me the measurement of this dash space. Look at pic to see.

TY very much. I was thinking of just using the plastic window to hold my gauges. (Pull out the actual gauges in the inclosure. Then cut and paint the plastic to hold the gauges.) So a 5" gauge may be cutting it too close. Though a 4 5/8" gauge should work. Any thoughts?

my actual thoughts are that a big *** giant gage like that needs to be a dash mounted tach and thats it. big gages IN the dash look horrible 40's style.
