What stall did you get?

I have been told 2400-2600 for a regular hwy driver......................

Its not dd so I dont care but what your opinion?
I would suggest a stall around 3500 rpms for you since you've got a little more power up top with the TF H/C/I. I would give Andre at Edge Racing Convertors a call (http://www.edgeracingconverters.com/). He built me a perfect stall for a very good price ($520 to my door) for my 3000 rpm custom built torque converter, hell he may even suggest the same stall rating that I've got. That guy's a genius and really knows his **** when it comes to torque converters and building the perfect one. I won't go through anyone else for a torque converter.

Oh yeah, and as long as your getting a lock up style convertor, you won't need to worry about your stall rating on the highway, it locks up in 3rd gear. I've got 3.90s and I've make 140+ mile trips at 65-75 mph on the interstate and I don't have any issues.

I have serious traction issues now, it's horrible. But some cheater slicks will take care of that.

I think the old timers are referring to non-locking converters, which what they are saying is true
