check the holley systemax 2 system, thats whats in mine and im at 347 rear whell horses at 387 ft lbs of torque at 2800 rpm mine came with systemax 2 heads, lower and upper intake, pushrods, roller cam, roller rockers, lifters, valves, valve springs. i bored to a 306 with dss forged pistons and i have 3.73 in the rearend. i run a 12.47 in the quater at 114 mph with a t-5 tranny. but let me warn you!!!!!!!! before u start talking horsepower you better be sure that cars underside can handle it and by this i mean subframe connectors, battle boxes, ect. or you will end up like me with a cracked floor pan and having to replace it with everything. check out the video and listen to the wheel hop off the line due to this and i cant run slicks because of it because i will crack it more. so i have to roll off the line then jam it. keep in mind this is all motor 306 no nos please excuse the rice
burner and my wife and kids fussing in the video. keep in mind s-10 has a 350 in it.

Those are some pretty good numbers. I am going to have to check the Holley system out. Do you think if you had a 331 or a 347 stroker your number would be higher? If it would what do you think the HP increase would be if you had a 331 or 347 from a 306?

What exactly did you go to get that rhp# and what gear do you have?!! I have done all bolt ons except head/cam and internals with 373 gear and only made 236 rhp with dyno tune and with 100 shot made 326...

take the engine out the car first

id do a one time trip, convert that 351 in there with a HCI and pump out 400 ponies, and call it a FIX.

the best sleeper project was the econoline we built back in 2000 for a guy, that wanted to get revenge on mustangs and camaros.

so we took his 351 and did a HCI and came out with 341 rwhp and a ton of torque!

go with the afr heads they will be so easy they are a direct bolt on and then get a nice big carb with 1.7 roller rockers, that will make over 400 hp at the crank which makes about 320 wheel. so there its the easiest and probably the least expensive
