1992 GT Engine Ticking Noise
So I dont know how long its been doing it. But I took my 92 GT out today to change the oil and get it ready to put away for the winter which its put away now. But I noticed a slight ticking noise from the engine bay. Im wondering if a rocker or lifter is bent, lose, or bad? One time this summer when trying to power shift I messed up and hit the rev limiter pretty good. But never really noticed the ticking till today. Any Ideas?

That could be acutally because I took my slps off over a year ago and put them on my 96 GT then installed a Flowmaster cat back on it this Spring and have had the X- pipe off last year to do a clutch as well as put headers on it last year? You Think PRO?

Yeah will do off topic but any advice on the next mod for it? There is a swap meet in Ohio this weekend and I was thinking Sub Frame connectors and a bigger MAF and TB/EGR plate?

my best guess is an exhaust leak since i just encountered the same problem. twice. i would say look for some suspension mods, you can't use the power if you're spinning 
look for maybe some upper and lower rear control arms or maybe a poly kit for the car. makes a world of difference!

Yeah I will deffinately check for a exhuast leak I hope that is what it is thanks for your help. I deffinately want sub frames but will look into control arms to what brand? No I dont have gears I want to do them this spring I was thinking 3:73's cause I want to put a pro charger on it later down the road after college is done.

I'd go through the entire exhaust and tighten everything down doubley good, before you take the intake and valve covers off and mess around with all that stuff...
