a few simple questions...
Hey guys, finally got my license back and wanna treat the stang well so I got a few questions:
1. What do you guys use to clean the interior. I mean yea for stones and dirt and stuff, its obvious you'd use a vaccum, but I mean REALLY clean it and make it look good.
2. Its time for an oil change, which do ya'll recommend?
3. Another cleaning question, I have chrome ponies, which cleaner do u recommend to make em SHINEEE?
4. My hatch is really pissing me off. Some @ss who owned the car before me had tint on the back window, but to pass inspection he had to take it off. Well there's so much glue and small pieces of tint on the window. I've tried alotta things, any suggestions?
Thanks again, I always get alotta helpful responses!

RE: a few simple questions...
Not sure about the chrome ponies but for the interior just use a vacuum and a friend of mine who details cars for a living recommends degreaser for interior. He uses degreaser on the car, interior, etc. And he details bently's, ferraries, mercedez and bimmers all day so I definetly trust in what he says.
For oil, it depends on how much money you want to spend lol. You can go with Royal Purple, Mobil 1, etc. I run RP 10w30.

Yea, he dilutes it though. He just takes a spray bottle. Fills it up almost halfway with degreaser and than the rest with water. We did my Intrepid that way and it came out really nice. He also used it on my headliner, etc. and it got alot of stains out. It scared me the first time but it worked really well. He also always sprays the front bumpers, tires, wheels, wheel wells, and lower half of the car with degreaser, than powerwash, than claybar, than handwash, than polish, than wax

Ha no way man? This stuff works for the headliner too!? Awesome, great tip man, I appreciate it. It should work the same for the seats too, wouldn't you imagine?
Alright well blue88GT thanks a ton man, anyone have any ideas on the other questions? Money really isn't a factor for me, but I'm not trying to go for something with an outrageous price tag!

Yea, I just called him and he said he uses diluted degreaser on the headliner all the time to just clean it up. If the stains are really bad just use carpet cleaner. He said just use a nice clean cloth for the headliner. I never tried it on seats and I didnt ask him but I honestly dont see why not if you can use it on headliner you know. Just do a test area and see how it comes out first before you jump into anything. I know it worked on my car and he does it all the time but I dont want to be responsible for something going bad lol
