The belt is on but I get no pressure in the upper coolant hose. How do I burb the system?

Could you define rebuilt? Because birping a coolant system and thermostat posistion is pretty basic considering your an engine rebuilder!

Anyhow, jack the front of the car up, place on jack stands, (or park on a hill), and open the rad cap, turn the car on, allow to run and add coolant as neccesary, the system will flow once up to temp, and then squeeze the upper radiator hose(the one that crosses over the alternator) a few times and the air will rise from the system and escape through the rad cap...
