I removed my a/c and smog, but I run an UD on the crank pulley so yours will be longer if you have the stock one. I use a 69.5" belt, I also changed my PS bracket to the non a/c type. I think youll need sometihng along the lines of a 71.5". What I did was I found a belt long enough to run my wp and alt, drove to the parts store and asked the guys if I could match a belt up, they said no problem and with in about 10 minutes I had the right size.

I'm using the March eliminator bracket with the stock pullies. No a/c or smog pump and running a 79.5" belt.

Make sure you route the belt going from the p/s pump to the water pump, then down around the crank, up to the alternator, and over the tensioner back to the p/s pump.

w/ your existing belt on, (to keep the tensioner in place) run a pices of yarn around the pulleies (it doesn't run the same after you eliminate the smog and ac , it goes around the crank opposite, you should be able to figure it out from there.

measure the string then go about 1" smaller than you measured.

the best sizes are like this:

gates ko60695
ko=nothing
60= 6 rib
695= 69 1/2"
700= 70"
get it????

Im just adding to this old post to stop a new forum but does anyone live in CT have the smog pump eliminator. I want to free up room and hp but still keep it "legal" even thought i have a H pipe. I dont want to tear it off then find out that i cant pass emisions. That would just piss me off.
