Default oil filter for a dart block

so, up until today, i had tape covering the oil filter hole on the block, went and bought a new filter, came back and went to put it on and noticed that it is a female connector peice, same as the oil filter. the engine shop is closed until monday, does anyone else happen to know the part number for the proper oil filter for a dart sportsman block¿

Darts web site states standard filter. You need the threaded adapter out of a stock block or go to dealer and get a new one.
Damn I'm good!!!!!!!!

The one in the link I posted is an oem unit. I would think it is dealer specific. I searched NAPA auto parts and also Dorman products with no results. I doubt that you will get one from a parts store. You could always get one from a Junk yard or possibly a machine shop.

It's a standard oil filter boss.

You can remove one from a stock block, Order it with your DART block (its a DART part number now) or you can find one through Pioneer or Motormight (brands that are sometimes carried by local parts stores.) If all else fails email me and I can also get one to you if it helps.

Hope that helps,

Brian
