ORIGINAL: black89gt

you can make your own stock tower brace if you want to. just get a thick piece of metal and drill 2 holes in it on each side, big enough to fit the stud in the shock, and bolt it down with the shock bolts on eachside. as simple as that.
was just going to say make one lol.

ya to be honest i havnt seen to many of these either.

ok quick question.. wuts the difference to a G-load brace and a K-member, i think it was kinda explained but im half retarded and didnt get it really.. and a link to one for sale would be cool

A g-load brace IS a k-member brace... just a different name for it.

The K-member is essentially the whole structural front-end of our cars. That's what the engine, radiator, etc. is bolted to.

*EDIT* Oh, and the front suspension is bolted to the k-member aswell.

ok gottcha! reason why i was confused was cuz i read some tech article on foxes and they described the "k-member" and the "g-load brace" as being different and that its a good idea to get both? i was woundering how the g-load brace worked if you already has a k-member.. anyway thanks for the explaination!

Well, they might have been talking about buying a whole new k-member. I know several companies out there offer tubular K-members (for use with coil-overs, etc). That end up saving around 50lbs up front.
