RE: Debate: Where are the shock tower braces?
They are available. Theres also whats called a G-load brace that braces the K-member to the unibody for extra support. I would think just about everybody has them.

Um.................................
Those are STRUT tower braces...
I already have one of those .
Shock towers are in the back.
"G-load" or K-member brace goes infront attached to the K-member infront.

Oh come on, no one can think of an answer for this? Seems like a pretty basic question to me... I just don't understand why no one makes a frame-stiffening component for the rear of the fox other than a roll cage, and torque box reinforcements.

RE: Debate: Where are the shock tower braces?
panhard bar helps locate the axle and prevents it from moving b/c of poor suspension design, the shock tower brace is supposed to stiffen the rear frame much as a strut tower brace does to the front I'm pretty sure. I know that there's alot of slop back there in the frame... wonder why no companies are addressing that, unless the phb is really the shock tower's replacement... but in that case, why then are there shock tower braces for 94+ mustangs readily available AND panhard bars?

RE: Debate: Where are the shock tower braces?
you can make your own stock tower brace if you want to. just get a thick piece of metal and drill 2 holes in it on each side, big enough to fit the stud in the shock, and bolt it down with the shock bolts on eachside. as simple as that.

Yeah, but why is it that no company has jumped on this idea to sell stuff to people like me with no access to any material to make said bar? It's so damn easy.
