Default Oil in intake

Why would I have oil in the intake manifold. I started to tear down the motor today and the intake is full of oil.

Since I am tearing down the motor what would be the best replacement intake without changing out the heads

yes they do I just osted a chart two days ago that showed how the Explorer intakes outflowed the Cobra and the GT-40 intake.

And you can't beat the price! I'm actually inside the house now after just painting the upper intake from the 96 Explorer engine I bought last week. Once I'm done with that, I have to paint the lower (just cleaned her up a bit with a wire brush first.) And after the lower is painted, it's time to pull the GT-40 heads from the block.

Entire 96 Explorer engine for $350 at a junk yard. Once I swap the heads and intake (and clean up the block some) back out the doro it goes.
