since the cobra cam is "bigger" then a stock gt cam.. and also has a wide lobe seperation angle does that mean it would work good with a sd car and not have any of the idleing issues? and also if i bumped up to 1.7 rockers what would that make the new lift and durration be for that cam? and does anybody know if you can still get that cam new or am i only gonna find it used? sorry to steal the post...and is a 94-95 cobra cam the same as a 93 cobra cam? sorry. i know they might be dumb questions but i am just currious.

yes, the 94-95 can is the same. yes it would be fine for SD... like pretty much EVERY cam. and your stats with 1.7 rockers would be as you see it there.... cobras HAVE 1.7 rockers

Thats right, i forgot they came with 1.7 rockers.[sm=bangbang.gif]
and were the factory rockers really crane rockers?

Sweet, i did not know that. thanks adder, i might just be on the lookout for a factory cobra cam now.. and i hear the factory cobra engines were underrated at 240hp.. i hear that they actually put down close to that at the wheels stock, is that true?

eh... ive seen them put down 210... mine wasnt stock when i did my first dyno pull... so....

well my motor should be coming out this winter, once i get it running on the megasquirt... then im going 306, 10:1 comp, ~.500 lift cam, Thumper ported GT-40's, Thumper ported GT-40 lower intake, gt-40 tubular upper... and hopefully making 300+ rwhp
but we will see how that goes
