new exhaust just waiting...
better to be safe than sorry...
i ordered a new exhaust system.
BBK shortie headers.
BBK O/R X-pipe.
Flowmaster O/O 40's.
i plan on installing custom removeable hiflow cats but not just yet...
i realize that this is not enough piping and know that i need more.
mid pipe? exhaust tips...
ive never installed a full headers back system before but im real excited to. i just want to make sure i have everything nescessary...
any suggestions or things i need please let me know. i love the tech help available at mustangforums.com. i love my 5.0. (88' 5.0 GT convertible 5spd)

RE: new exhaust just waiting...
You have it all unless you just got mufflers or did you get the kit for your car?
You might want to take the time now to replace your o2 sensors and maybe get a quality set of header gaskets.

it wasnt a kit i bought those three peices individually.
i just put in new o2 sensors.
are the header gaskets that came with the bbk headers are not trustworthy?

I meant, were the flows a kit or just mufflers....I know the headers and X pipe aren't.
The header gaskets will be fine, but I wouldn't be suprised if you had to replace them everyone in a while....just part of having headers.

You should have gotten a kit like this one here from http://summitracing.com . See all the piping it has that you will need for not too much money. You probably paid $100 a piece...you should return them and get a kit from summit. You could also look at http://jegs.com Those are the 2 places I get most of may parts.

like these?
i just have the mufflers, not that front connector part or the tailpipes.
id rather not use the stock dumps that are on it now. any way around that upward bend, like running it straight through?
im currently in newyork right now on vacation (flying back tonight), and my car is in cali so i cant look real fast but i think the rear axles are in the way?
