quick questions
QUESTION 1: i have an automatic in my 94 5.0 vert.....and when i am sitting still in park and i put it in drive it almost cuts off...sometimes does...and its the same when i come to a light...the battery starts dropping and it sounds like its gonna cut out....what can i do to go about fixing this?
QUESTION 2: the other day i pulled the car in the garage ...put in park and just revved it a little bit just to hear it in the garage...and i heard a pop and it blew some blue smoke for a second........what is that??

Question 1 - Have you checked to make sure you don't need a larger alternator? It sounds like you might need one.
Questions 2 - Head gasket? When I blew mine in my girlfriend's v6, i saw white, blueish smoke.

2.The pop coulda just been back fire. How many miles are on the motor. Does it use oil at all between oil changes.

2.The pop coulda just been back fire. How many miles are on the motor. Does it use oil at all between oil changes.

goto muscular musangs.com and look in the tehc articles, theres a through article on cleaninf the IAC, TB, setting base idle and TPS voltage, sounds like the problem in my opinion, whens the last time the timings been checked and the fuel filter changed as well....
