Default Does anyone know the answer to this?????

If an engine has flat tapper lifters and cam can you just change the cam and lifters to a roller setup. Is it that easy or what will it affect?

you can get a conversion kit, but its not worth the hassle....

just stick to flat tappet cams in a flat tappet block

If it's not a roller block, you'll have to have some machine work done to make it a roller block. Like drilling more oil journals, and adding bosses for the lifter girdle ect... still not 100% sure though...

+1. not really worth it. if you really want to run a roller 351.. look for a block or motor from 94-97. they were roller cam 351's.
