just thought i would let everyone know i finally found me a notch!!!!

its an 86 gt with a 4cyc motor and tranny. the guy is giving me clutch pedals the quarter windows to make it look like an 87-93 and putting a 8.8 rearend in it with 3.27 gears

well i really wanted a notch and finally found one. and there so much lighter than my old sn95. but i really don't like the 4eyed look so i am fiberglassing the whole front end, probably doors, and trnk lid

Congrats dude! It's weird, when I was growing up all I wanted was a Mustang GT, then as I got older and read about the benefits of the Notch, I wanted a Notch, then one of my friends had to go and get a Convertible and I was hooked LOL. Funny how things play out. Good luck with your new ride!

how light do u think i can get this thing actually down to?
i mean fiberglass front bumper, hood, fenders, full k-member kit, removed front sway bar, racing seats, removed back seat, fiberglass doors, and fiberglass trunk lid, ac removed flaming river manual rack, and removed smog.

is there anything else i can do to lighten it up?

about what do u think it will weigh with a 351w in it

what are the benefits of a notch, for you guys who have one, or want one. I thought the weight diff was the only major one.

yeah thats what I was talking about when I mentioned the benefits, the weight and maybe a little stronger, since the whole hatch area can flex.

how am i a triator i wrecked and found this on the cheap. and sn cars aren't all there cracked up to be. would u wanna race when i get my car like i want? think 2600-2700lbs and around 550-600n/a? easy 10sec car
