wIRING hELP ON IGINITION YSTEM
oK HERES THE PROJECT1 ITS AN 88 MUSTANG. I DROPPED A 5.0 INTO IT. IM UP RO THE WIRING. I RIPPED ALL HARNESSES OUT. I AM REWIRING EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH! I AM RETARDED WHEN IT COME DOWN TO THIS STUFF. NOW I WIRED UP A SWITCH FOR THE FUEL PUMP, THE IGNITION COIL, AND A BUTTON FOR THE SARTER SOLENOID. pROBLEMS. IT WONT START!! I GET FUEL GOING, PRESSURE IS GOOD, I GET CRANKING FROM STARTER, BUT NO POWER EXITS THE COIL. THE COIL ITSELF GETS POWER, BUT WONT SEND ANY TO THE SIDTRIBUTOR!!!!!!!! why!!!. I HAVE ALSO INCLUDED A DIGRAM OF MY WORK , THANK YUO THANK YOU! Ok, i jsut looked at your diagram there, and you have no ignition box in there. You cant just wire up straight power to the coil and fire it up, you need some sort of brain box, MSD, for example. The box gets a positive 12v source and a 12v switched source, and from the box the coil gets power. Also, why arent your relays grounded?

Your ground wire on the coil should not be grounded. It will go to your dizzy if using a mechanical dizzy.
And you said you got it cranking, correct? Then your diagram is wrong for your starter.

it is carburetor! unn ground from coil goes where?? and whats a dizzy????? how is starter incorrect it was cranking. its an msd distributo, and an msd blaster coil.umm if anyone needs any more info lemem know! im goign crazy ova here =) anwya thanks for the assistance!!!
