whats the different between hyperuteric and cast? i have 92 LX would that be hyperuteric? My car is original New Mexico car how do i found out if block is Mexicano?

hyperutectic is a non heat-treated piston that will swell and have more distortion in them under high stress loads and temps. Forged aluminum does not distort as easily. Not saying that they never will, just not near as easy. Forged tend to last longer on N2O motors and blower motors. You have to run the casting numbers on your block by the ford tech line, they can tell you if your block is mexican or not. I think there are some markings on the lifter valley below your lower intake that would tell you also, or on the side of your block where the casting numbers are. 92 would be a hyperutectic piston car

I have heard both stories for that. he could call ford tech and find out for sure if there were questions concerning a power adder in the future.

94/95s also have the dumb elbow. forged was 85-92(some say 85 1/2), 86 was the first year for efi but had the e6 heads. also its not really the motor but they have the 130 amp alternator, and they better starter was i think 92 and up, or maybe it was 93?
