on my way to az from cali i had a leak in my tranny i never had before in the tranny lines. i broke down at 11 AT night with no one around for miles called triple a and had it towed to my dads new house in bullhead city. i got there and found the pressure leak in the line fix it and still the tranny wont go in reverse, but well go in drive and makes a grinding sound , well not quite grinding hard to explain. dad thinks its the bands in the tranny and to read up on tighting them? can anyone tell me any tips? anyone have a tranny for sale in cali? auto 5 speed doesnt matter

no or low fluid, you burned her up.

take it out and drop off at tranny shop$400 -450 cash rebuilt

yep, id say you burnt it up, ususally reverse is the first thing to go.

over-drive is usually first to go

IMO if reverse is the only thing out just keep driving it till its done

i used to put my old car into neutrol and flint-stone my way out of driveways and such heh

dont know where in so. cal you are but call All Ford, they will have just about any ford part in existance. its a huge ford grave yard
