Default Cam question

Just bought an 89 GT with about 140k miles on it and have Trick Flow upper and lower intakes, Twisted Wedge Heads, on the way. Car has cold air intake, bbk headers, flowmaster, and few other minor adds. Question is what cam should I snag for this sucker. Don't want anything wild because the guts of this motor is still stock. Just something that will give me a few extra horses and new sound to it. Thanks for all the help gang!

BUY MATCHING COMPONENTS

Trickflow
Stage One Cam and 1.6 Rollers

Trick Flow Twisted Wedge 5.0L EFI Engine Kits

Top-end kits that pack a serious horsepower punch!

Why mix and match top-end components, when these Trick Flow Twisted Wedge 5.0L EFI engine kits can give you dyno-proven power without the guesswork? Built around Trick Flow's Twisted Wedge cylinder heads, these kits include a specially matched hydraulic roller cam that enhances the broad power and torque curves of the Twisted Wedge design. These cams feature a 221°/225° duration at .050, .499/.510 in., with a 1.6 rocker ratio, and a 112° lobe separation. Other components include roller rockers, a gasket kit, timing chain, pushrods, and silver valve covers, all perfectly matched for optimum power!

Will I actually have to pull the motor to do all this? Mainly meaning the cam or can I get that sucker in there by pulling the radiator/fan?

o h yeah !!!! [8D]

hell yeah, done quite a few that way, just take your time, it will take you a day or two to do the whole thing. but you cant stop wiping the grins off your face.

Hardest part is removing the grime and corrosion from the water pump and plate without damaging it, BUT TAKE YOUR TIME WITH THAT.

and remeber some of the studs/bolts go through water passages, so rtv those a little, in fact you could do em all that way if in doubt, but youll know when you take em out

Well if I get:

Then should I just rebuild the sucker? And what else would I really need to complete the rebuild?
