Suspension Kits
Well I have saved up about 1500 dollars, and I need to update the suspension on my 92 Lx because is blows. I have looked around and the maximum motorsports sport box looks like it has quite a bit for the price. does anyone own one of their kits or have you heard anything about them

RE: Suspension Kits
For around $1,500 you can get a nice Maximum Motorsport coilover set up. I know a few people who have done this mod and would reccommend to anyone. I beleive it consists of coilover springs and billstein shocks and struts, cc plates and some other stuff just do some research. Definetly do your rear control arms as well. Good luck

RE: Suspension Kits
I want my car to handle really well, I know that setting my car up this way it isn't going to be able to run as fast in the quarter as it would if I set it up with a drag setup, but this is my daily driver. I just want a well rounded car that does a little bit of everything well..

RE: Suspension Kits
Just get a street/road racing set up, and dont camber the wheels excessively. So that basicly would mean adjustable coil overs & camber plates. Plus what ever these Mustangs rear ends may need, and some new bushings. I found out there are other ways besides coil over on these stangs also... But if you want performance, and dont want it to be drag car. Raod racing suspension is the only way to go. And it will still improve your drag racing over stock.

RE: Suspension Kits
i have the ford racing lowering spring and KYB shocks and struts and some wide kumhos my car handles good i know that coilovers would be a little better but what i have is worlds away from the stock and if you can adjust the suspension right you can have a killer car. bumbsteer kits will help thats my next suspension part and strut tower braces and shock tower braces to stiffen the car up
