Those and the Licoln Mark VIII fans are the most sough after for our Stangs, they pull more air that just about all aftermarket fans and you can get them so much cheaper. Great upgrade.

Yeah, the brake calipers from Mark VIIs are direct bolt ons, also like was said, an electric fan out of a Mark VII, or from a 3.8L Taurus or Windstar. I've heard the fans from Dodge Caravans also work just fine. U/L intake from Explorer 5.0's, 96+ Heads, etc. You can build a whole car if you want, lol....It helps to know what you're looking for before you go.

I've read those Mark VIII fans can pull something crazy like 6500 CFM of air, the 3.8 Taurus fan a little less but doesn't draw as much power, you'd need to upgrade your alternator to AT LEAST the 130 amp if you want to run the Mark VIII. I just finished putting in the Taurus fan, it was a nice fit actually :-)

Yeah, try getting an alternator off of an SN-95 or a new edge, they're also an easy swap.

Yeah your one of the lucky ones, us Fox owners get stuck with something like 75 or 80 amp alternator, and then if you put underdrives on it your lucky to be able to listen to the radio when your headlights are on let alone power a stout electric fan LOL
