ya id like to know if 3.73's would be worth it, and i also read on some site that it will bounce off the 2nd gear rev limiter and u have to let off to shift??

no thats not true

the rpm diff from 3.73 to 4.10 is 250 rpms

3.27 to 3.55 absolutely no difference. you have to go 2 gearsets to even notice it
you'll be raising your rpm only by 250 at any given speed , so just think about that and what it feels like at 1500 , it it's still weak at 1750

i had 3.73's in 2 aod cars, 1 also had the wide gearset and 2200 stall in 1 of them , it still bogged a little even by myself when it hooked, on streettires yeah it busted 'em loose pretty good, but tire spin is no good, once it hooked a little bit of bog still.

your gonna do what you feel like doing, but i swapped out 3.27's for 3.73's even though i was told to do 4.10's and guess what ? yup , i was dissapointed

3:55's. i think this is the highest i can go without having to change the speedo drive gear.
even so, you'll be using the non ford 23 tooth driven gear , your 3.27's use the purple 21 tooth

another option is a calibration box, not sure of $$$$$ though

r u serious that 3.73's rnt ne good in an auto because i dotn want to be running 3000rpm's on my way home w/ 4.10's considering i store my car up north.
i rly wanna do gears but not if it wont be worth it
I just got 3.90's installed in my 93 GT Auto. At 70 Im at 2300 I think in OD... might be a hundred off (possibly) but Im pretty sure thats where im at.

i was going to move from the 3:27 to the 3:55 because it is a good deal on some used gears. maybe not do it now if i won't even feel it.
