ya get stud tires for the winter. Get them in the back and if you got the money get them in the back too. (studs are not much) Put alittle wait in the back (a few bags of sand), keep it in the higher gears (especially in snow). Do you have a 4.6L or a 5.0L? What kind of mods? Those would changed your outlook too. But just answer me on those.

My mustang made it through winter fine, I live in new york as well so i know what its like. The secret to making it through winter is.....Studded Rear Tires, I have a 93 5.0 LX btw. They work pretty good and they are fun to tear up in the spring when you are done with them. Thats if you dont want to buy a beater, but buying a beater is the best way to go.

I couldn't imagine driving my car in the winter. It's challenging enough with my Bronco and it has Traction-Lock in the rear with some weight in the back. Wide tires are going to suck. Get a beater. If you wanted to get a Mustang where you live you should know getting a beater for the winter comes with the territory.

what he said ^. haha well ya and those rims are not going to look the same, u prob will either get hit by something or someone, winter just kills your car man dont do it just dont or else she wont look at you the same (your pony). haha alright goin to roll another j so. peace out 420.
