Default New Part Comment ?

Hey i just bought a Torque Converter off summit. Its the TCI streetfighter one ... might be superstreet fighter but i'm pretty sure its only a 3000 stall i hope its not higher. Just wondering how much i'm gonna like it cause i've heard alot of good things about TC's but of course after i actually buy it i start reading some bad comments. Should i be ok with this one i paid like $440 cuz i wanted one thats going to last, even if i add nitrous later.

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

sry not sure how to make that shorter i hope the link works and if not maybe some of you know the one i'm talking about. Basically i'm just looking for sum ppl to help out my confidence tell me its gonna work sweet lol ( if it will)
It's a 92 AOD GT vert so its heavy real slow lmao i have a set of 410s i need to put it also over the winter and i plan to get sum lakewood shocks n struts and then come control arms to help with traction issues... if all else fails sum MT et streets or somthing

thanks that was a quick responde, yea i figured if i'm gonna be dishing out 440 i better feel a difference ! thats why i'm asking for opinions, hopfully some ppl have the one i just bought. I've recently just read ( like the past 5 min ) that the 410 might be too much gear for the torque converter or somthing along those lines... i dont have the gear installed but i thought with the 410 gear and 3000 stall converter it'd just make one hell of a quick launch if i get traction whats this about it may being to high :S ??????

I have a bassani o/r X , flowmasters for what their worth, Mac CAI, underdrive pullies, thats basically it. I plan on taking the stock heads and intake and having a friend port and polish them just 4 sum extra power. But i'm lookin at lakewood 50/50's and then 91/10s with sum lakewood control arms. I really want to get the Eibach Drag Launch kit but i guess they're not made to handle the weight of the convertibles so i guess i'll hold off on springs 4 now... I'm thinking i'm gonna need a real sticky tire to keep the tires stuck to the road but i cant wait to get everything in i plan on buying over the winter... this converter is the first thing i've got so i hope it wasnt a mistake i've tried to put some research into it but i didnt want to go custom cuz my car is basically stock and i have big plans i dont want to have to upgrade the converter in 2 years...

Hey guys i really wanna go with sum lakewood shocks/struts once i make some more $ but all i keep hearing about is these strange adjustible ones... I'm kinda on a tight budget and was happy with the lakewood prices. Are the 90/10s really that bad for the street? i have to drive this school 5 days a week but i really want the best launch possible ? will 70/30s be good enough... pluss my cars a vert their suposed to be heavier would that make the 90/10's not as bad or worse????? I'm thinkin about just holding off on shocks struts and springs till later and just gettin real good control arms and MT et street drag radial if u guys think they'll give me enough traction with the converter and 410 gear ? so how about some opinions 90/10's ??? 70/30's ??? get better control arms than i was planning on , and how good will the MT drag radals be for traction??? help please

I'd rather pay sumone to instal both the manual valve body i'm buying , tranny cooler and torque converter but depending on price. so anyone already have the converter ???? and how much would labour cost ???
