87 burns easier. 89 is harder to burn, which is why its more resistant to detonation. If its easier to burn your HC's will go down. HC's are unburnt fuel, CO is partially burnt fuel, and NOX is overly burnt fuel from high combustion temps (2500 degrees). You might wanna try driving your car REALLY easy when you drive to the station.

try making the car run a little lean. i don't have emmisions so i don't know it thats possable or not, but if it is then that should take care of the problem

all the numbers were in GPM. and yea, i ran it rly hard before i went there(racing w. a 88 iroc a few times, yes i won, lol) i think ill try the 87 gas, new o2s, and an oil change... and ofcourse ill let yall no.

help me pass. advanced timing and no cat. hehe....soooo, am i completely screwed? Oh, and does anybody have any idea what types of places that do car inspections DONT do emissions testing in Missouri? Ive heard from people who say they were and others who werent tested....but i always forget to ask a location.

yah, im MO everything is in one place, and they are apperntly very lax with enforcing emissions testing...in some places. I might just have to bring a cash bribe.... cheaper than buying and installing two cats anyways...
