well subframes will make an impact. ive you want the mother fix of all rattles and sloppyness, go for a roll bar, lol. that 'll stiffen her up a lot. but new weatherstripping, new hatch latch. and subframes and good shocks and struts, make sure bushings in suspension are not dry rotted and shot, check and tighten all dash screws, they willcome loose over the yaers and really creates some annonying sounds.

I'm on stock suspension and when I'm on good roads my car rides fine, although not new car fine. But on bumps it rattles rather noticeably, even on small bumps. But you can't expect a superb ride out of an aging ride.

ok yeah ill probably try all that soon, but one of the major rattles i have right now is my passenger side muffler bouncing off the frame when the engine revs up, i cant fix it because if i bend the muffler away from the frame, then it rubs on the rear tire, and if i push that away, it rubs the frame again....

Mine rides super firm...sometimes jarring over even small bumps. It doesn't rattle though--except for the ebrake handle from time to time. The car handles surprisingly well around turns. I believe the front was lowered a touch and the wheels were cambered in a bit. Not sure though. Do stock front shock mounts have adjusting holes to set camber? Mine do, but I don't know if they're stock.

how to fix the hatch prob:
new hatch weatherstrip. latch bushing (advance sells them in the help section) and adjust the latch height and/or the bumper stop things.
