RE: 429cj or 351ho?
i never had one...but i suggest a big block. they run sick at the track.

RE: 429cj or 351ho?
i say go with the 351 stroked. IT is a much easier swap, and for the money making the 428cj fit and bolt up you can make a 351 scream!

+1 on the 351, options are unlimited and aftermarket parts are cheaper and easier to find.

RE: 429cj or 351ho?
how much u got to spend cause if i were u i would find a boss 429 motor they are on ebay all the time for like 810-15 grand, thats well over 500 hp out of the box rite there, or go 351 cleveland they are really good motors, take to mods real well only prob not a whole lot out there for them, but if u put a big cam port the heads and then a big intake and carb u got a 500 hp monster rite there

If you already had the 429 then I would say go for it, Big blocks are mean as hell, and hard to beat. But a stroked 351 will be much easier to do and you wouldnt be dissapointed.
