Didn't Chevy merge / take over Geo and change the mane from a Geo Tracker to a Chevy Tracker? Or am I thinking of some other vehicle...

Yeah, it's going to be a major pain in the *** to get in there. It's sad really... I had an easier time stripping the intake, cam, and heads off of my 302. And that was a lot more complicated than removing two freaking bolts that hold a starter in place!

Swap is going good. I got the engine stripped down to the block, and I cleaned / painted everything. Unfortunately, I didn't get a "before" pic of my upper intake, but I did take an after pic. I also got a before / after pic of the lower. None of the heads yet but I'll add those soon.

It's not the cleanest paint job, but I'm not looking to enter any shows. Just wanted to clean up the bay a little.

After - Upper Intake

Before - Lower Intake

After - Lower Intake

There are two bolts holding the Geo's starter in place. One is nearly directly above the other and they go from front to back. The starter sits on the passenger side of the vehicle and is pretty far down in the bay. So far that you have to reach teh bottom bolt from underneath. I can feel teh upper from above or under the car, but I cant find any way to get anything on it to turn it. I have never had such a hard time with such a simple task.
