You may have to get the car dynoed and a new computer chip installed for all the upgrades you done...........?

i had the same problem with my 347 also, i bet you are 180degs off it you can get it to start and it just surges and dies and wont idle i bet youre 180* off,

my problem turned out to be incorrect balancer. Stupid me didnt look it up when I got it, and it was for a older 351 motor. So needless to say the timimg marks didnt line up and was trying to make it run at 14 deg which in reality turned out to be close to 40degrees for base timing.
